Speedlite 430EX or 430EX II - Difference?

As above really - I am looking at a speedlite 430EX. I have seen this for £169, but then wondered what the difference was between the 430EX and 430EX II. Is it worth a few extra bob?

If you can tell me, then you'll help me make my decision!
 
Well, given that you can get a 430EX II for £172.19 from amazon, I'd go for that (see here! It recycles faster, and more quietly, not sure on other improvements!

Enhancements include 20% faster and silent recycle time, a new metal mounting foot with redesigned connection pins, a new quick release and locking mechanism, manual mode settings in 1/3 stop increments and, when used with compatible EOS cameras, all Speedlite 430EX II settings can be controlled through the camera menu system.

I think the ex2 recycles a bit quicker and it has a better locking mechanism. Ive got the ex and dont have an issue with it.
