Hi Folks,

I'm new to the forums here so please forgive me for posting an advert to start with :-)

For the last few months, I have been teaching a group of people from Manchester about the basics of digital photography. The course lasted for four weeks and was well attended.

Basically the course has now come to an end but it was always my intention to exhibit some of the pictures taken during the course. This exhibition is now running.

If you live in Manchester, then please pop along to the Wythenshawe Forum to take a look at the pictures. There's no charge and I'd love as many to go so that we can help support those people who have just taken a few tentitive steps into this tremendous hobby of ours.

The exhibition runs for two weeks from today (13th Nov) and if you do visit, please be sure to leave a comment on my exhibition blog post.

Best Wishes

Paul I've had a read of your Web Site (blog, when did the world change and start using this strange term?), looks interesting. So for those of us that consider a visit to Manchester as either too far or an encounter with the black art, why not set up an album in your pictures folder here so we can have a look see :)

This course, is it being re-ran, who is it for, quite a few on here are interested in courses.

I am, I've all the gear and no idea so to speak but finding a good course in Manny seems pretty hard and I'd like to know more about putting it all together and improve my portrait shots.

Carl.

The course may be run again but to be honest its really basic. Our aim being to get people with gear but no-idea, started.

Oh n Arkady... the North's the bit where all the people retire to once they've become rich :-)

What are the opening times? ive got a day off work tomorrow and will be passing through Wythenshaw so might pop in if i have time. Not going to Wythenshaw at night sorry, just aint worth dying for ;)

Its on for two weeks at the Wythenshawe Forum from 9 till 5. We had the official opening this evening, it seemed to go well and if your in the area then pay us a visit :-)
