Space is big .....

Just saw this online. I did a bit of looking around and it seems accurate.


After the Sun, the closest star to the Earth is about 4 light years away. In the 48 years since Voyager 1 was launched the distance it has travelled about 1 light day.

The problem with all this Cosmos stuff is that to the vast majority of folk it is unintelligible.
Worlds beyond our solar system. Stars. Giant balls of hot gas that burn for millions to billions of years. Space that goes on without end for ever.
