Hi all,

Going on a day trip tomorrow with the missus to the South Lakes Animal Farm (http://www.wildanimalpark.co.uk/).

I cant really take my backpack with ALL my lenses unfortunately, so I am limited to one, or perhaps two at a real squeeze... but would prefer to take just one with me...

I have been when I was a lot younger and seem to remember you can get quite close to the animals, so Im favouring my shorter lenses than longer ones...

Choices of potentially suitable lenses are

Sigma 30mm
Canon 50mm
Sigma 17-70 OS
Canon 55-250 IS

Any advice would be really appreciated!!
TIA
Nick

You can get pretty close, but a lot of the enclosures are the typical large sort with mesh fencing and wooden barriers so you can't get close. Or at least they were when I last visited (couple of years ago now though). I think I'd want to take the 17-70 and 55-250 to be sure. I'll see if I still have any of the mrs' pics from there.

Found a load of Zoo pics, but they're mixture from Welsh Mountain and South Lakes, can't reallytell what's what!
