it feels like i've been posting lots of questions recently and here's another one for you all . any idea on the best lens under £250 for bird photography (with canon fit)? I have had a look round at the lenses and they all seem to be pretty similar at that price all being about 70-300mm and f/4.5-5.6 so i was wondering if anyone knows anything bigger and in my price limit?

If you don't mind buying second hand you could probably pick up a Sigma 135-400 for your £250 budget

Or a new one for £280 + postage.

Yes I've had one for a while now and I'm more than happy with it

Nice shots! it definitely looks like its worth saving up and extra bit cash for! Another question (sorry) does it work with a 1.4x or 2x teleconverter ?
