I've the RX1R, and I'm thinking about recreating my "mobile portrait set-up" of fill on camera axis with hand held off camera flash (softbox on a stick)

I've been reading up,

Can't wirelessly trigger with the on-camera flash so a F20M was suggested to trigger a F60M perhaps.
But then I read the F20M cannot control the ratio, which as I have used it a lot in the past - I'm not sure I'd want to do without.

I'm not overly familiar with the Sony product, but it's got the multifunction hotshoe.

I have 2 x 600ex-rts and YN-E3-RT, I can see that the hotshoes do not fit properly and there's possibly a connector to make it work - but I think it would be manual flash only.

Any suggestions how best to get wireless flash working with my (expected) requirements?

cheers

Do you need TTL or are you happy to do it manually?

Well I might be able to get on manually, it will be on the fly varying distance single and group posed portraits. Does it sound much of a hassle?

I've not tried it manual like this

Ok the canon flash and yn-e3-rt will mount it, my mistake was that it was in the lock position when I tried before - and I assumed it wouldn't fit.

I can fire one flash off manually, but not remotely trigger with YN-E3-RT or the 600EX-RT

I can fire a 600EX-RT in manual off a cable, and have the on-camera flash trigger too, will need to play with settings
