Right these things cost an absolute fortune in the UK way over £200. My employer uses them to make secure copies of media cards (xD, memory stick & SD directly and I think CF via a USB media card reader) to DVD without a computer for evidential purposes.
Basically you stick any media card in one side and a DVD in the drive and it copies all the files over AND creates a DVD watchable slideshow too !!
Oh and it also copies VHS to DVD or Video camera to DVD
AND you can plug them in the fag lighter in the car to get back full media cards.
