Sony vegas aspect ratios

I am trying to put together a slideshow of still images using vegas. By default it is cropping all the images top and bottom to fit them full width in a 1920x1080 frame.

How do I tell it not to crop the images and leave in the left/right borders. I can do it with the pan/crop tool, but individually for each image, which will take forever!

Hi Dave,

In your preferences, at the bottom of the editing tab, there is a box that says "automatically crop images added to the timeline".

Make sure that is unchecked, your images will then not be resized on import.

You might have to delete your images and, re-import them with the new setting.
