Sony software over lightroom2? any benefits?

Hi ! just a quick question if i may.. :)

Recently purchased a sony A700 which comes with its own software for post processing and the like.. also a dedicated program for working with RAW shots..
I was curious .. as i already plumped for Lightroom2.. is there any benefit to loading in the Sony software?
Is there anything it can do thats superior to lightroom2? or should i just stick with lightroom2 and not bother installing the sony software?

I really can not see how the free sony software can be better than Lightroom. I'd use lightroom seeing as you have bought it!!
 
I think most people would say that in order to get the best from your RAW files, the software that comes with your camera is often hard to beat.

Lightroom isn't far behind, and its interface is nicer than Canon's.
