Hi all 
Last week I purchased from eBay an adapter to use Nikon lenses on my SONY NEX5R. Took it out to test for the first time on Saturday evening to try a long exposure or two, and to my horror ended up with images smeared in light! Got home and shone a torch into the adapter to see a sizable gap around the lens release button of the adapter.
I was in Southampton on Sunday so popped into LCE who sell SRB adapters. Got one of these and yep, exactly the same!
It doesn't seem to be an obvious thing when shooting a fast exposure, but any length of time and the images are ruined.
Really not impressed by this. Can anyone recommend a decent adapter which does not leak light?View attachment 8306
