Sony NEX-7 Pulsating AF !

Hello,

I have recently purchased a used Sony NEX-7 and and have been using it with my Sony 50mm f1.8 OSS E Mount, SEL50F18

When the camera is focusing using Flexible spot AF or centre point the AF is pulsing slightly backwards and forwards on the target, meaning I cannot get a sharp image ! ?

Any ideas what is causing this issue ! ?

Are you using af-c?
Do you have pre-af turned on?

Hi,

I have had a read of the thread and is mostly talks around AF and back Button Focusing ( BBF )

I am sure Auto Focus constant is turn on.
Is it tat the NEX-7 may not like the Sony 50mm F1.8 lens !
