The A900 was discontinued a while back in favour of the A850.
A900 prices have gone up from £1499 up to £1899 over the space of 6 months as stock availability is squeezed. A850 can be had for £1499 - do you need the bigger viewfinder and 3 vs 5fps?
Don't expect a A900 replacement to be priced as keenly as the A900 was - that was far too cheap (initially at least)

Only place I ever saw it at £1499 was Focus 2009. I couldn't afford it then, nor could I afford yours when you offered it for sale recently (or more accurately it would not have been sensible to commit that amount of money as I'm about to put my house on the market).
5fps is a big thing for me, since my main interest is motorsport.

I found the 5fps quite useful at BTCC as I had no idea what I was doing, so it was spray and pray!
My spare A900 is still over on Dyxum I think although I can't find the thread nos!
