Despite doing lots of tech research - just thought I’d ask if anyone can offer any thoughts…
Currently using a Sony A7riv and investment in Sony lenses - predominantly still landscapes… but am being asked to do a lot more video (small time commercial work) property interiors.
My issue is the a7r4 can only do 4K at 25p and not 50! Which is crucial for this work using gimbal.
With a budget of about 2k my options I’m trying to choose between….
Fx30 + 11mm 1.8
A74 - will work with my current 16-35 2.8
Or a7rv and sell my a7r4 to fund
Wondered if anyone had any experience of or insights on the options - I’m not doing fast movements so rolling shutter not an issue. Having 2 camera is always good for backup , but means more gear to carry too!
Just in that dilemma stage - I know any of the above would be plenty good enough for needs - but worth an ask!
