No
Hey folks I've recently bought a sony alpha a5100 and I was told there was a amazon prime photo app.
I've registered the camera and had a look on the app store but could not see any apps for this any advice please folks

If you are a prime member, you get free storage for photos and 5gig for videos and other files.

I don’t think it’s specific to Sony.

Just type in amazon photo on the Apple App Store and it comes up.

No I'm a prime member I thought there was a app to transfer photos from camera straight too prime photo and cut out the computer completely

I was under the impression there was a app to allow you to upload straight too amazon, Google etc etc but of a b****r if there's not because my laptop needs replacing lol

If your camera doesn't have built-in wireless then there is no way images could be transferred directly. One thing you might be able to do it to use a micro-SD card with an adapter in the camera, then transfer the card to your phone and sync photos with google storage.

The camera does have built in WiFi nfc and Bluetooth but I can't figure out how to upload photos to amazon prime without going through computer.

I could be wrong, but most cameras with WiFi work in the following way.

You turn WiFi on in the camera.

Camera starts broadcasting WiFi to phones and computers.

Computer or phone connects to the camera via the WiFi the camera is beaming out.

Images move from camera to computer.

I don’t know of any camera which will connect to the internet, other than a couple of
Old compacts which connect to Facebook.

Or a phone. Slightly trickier, but you should be able to connect your camera to your phone with an appropriate USB cable (which might be an OTG USB cable) and app. Or read the camera's card into your phone the same way with a cheap USB card reader. Or indeed a tablet. Many people do that on holiday as a quick way of getting their camera photos out onto the web without using a laptop.

No I can send them to phone via nfc but I thought I could set it so when the camera picked up home wifi it would automatically upload new photos to cloud storage will look into it there is a third party app that does this to Google but not for amazon

And everybody's phone camera, of course.

That's not an unreasonable expectation. The hardware is capable of doing this, so it's just a software issue. ("Just"!) I don't know of any specific apps that do what you want, though.
