Hi guys,
I'm just looking into a variety of lighting options atm (both flashguns and studio lighting) and I'm kind of unsure of what to do regarding my hot shoe. I know it's not a standard hot shoe, so I'm tempted to get an adapter so that I can buy standard accessories and therefore make the purchases future-proof. So my first question is, is that a good idea?
And then my second question is, which adapter do I buy? So far I've found two from Sony (the FA-HS1AM and the ADP-AMA) but I'm not sure which one to go for. I think it's the FA-HS1AM, but I'm not certain. Also, there are cheaper versions on eBay, but I'm guessing they're not worth it as they don't support TTL. Although, I can't find anywhere that says that the official Sony one does support TTL.
Any help would be greatly appreciated on this, as I really am stuck. If it helps, I'm looking at buying the MK2 Interfit EX150 3 head setup for studio lighting and the jury is still out on which flashgun!
Cheers
