It seems like only yesterday that we used to go on pub crawls for birthdays and have a drink in each, aiming for one pub per year. Must be at least 10 years sine we managed that!
 
Well, yes, I mean probably closer to 30 and even then, it was halves and an occasional soft drink! Since it's past 18:00, I might just raise a glass in your honour. I think a combination of lager and cider might be appropriate, although I don't have any lager available so it'll have to be straight cider! "Yia mas!" to use the toast I usually do!

and that reminds me of an incident where I very nearly got stranded on a pole trying to turn a narrowboat
and no alcohol involved ;)

Rather than have to get up in the middle of the night to dispose of a pint, I decided that am Ouzo was a better idea. Used to drink snakebite and black but not no more.

Ah yes, now, Ouzo and Raki I can do :thumbs:
 
Turkish or Cretan Raki? Cretan, I have plenty of, both straight and "Rakomeli" which is an infusion of honey and cloves in Tsikoudia. Never had Turkish but I understand it's pretty much the same as Ouzo.

I heard do adult drinks at the last staff party and the photocopier was never the same again, Marc is still trying to clear the paper jam on the A3 feed
