ok i have had urticaria now since 2003 and sinse then i have been on anti histomines every day which stop the swellings and the itching, however if i miss just one day it becomes unbearable. the doctors said at the time i have no allergies. so my question is this, after looking on the net, it seems that it should have gone by now, and says if it lasts longer than 6 weeks i should look into going to the doctors for tests for lupus, and other auto immune disorders. I am only a temporary client at the docs where i am, would it be ok for me to go to them or should i wait till i register at a new docs in liverpool in september?

Go, even temporary doctors should be able to get the ball rolling for you in so much as tests etc go. 5 years of anti-histamines is a bit extreme for someone with no apparent allergies, though one imagines that it cannot be ruled out yet. GO!
