Some good news from Ukraine

I have become strangely fascinated by a rich seam of videos I have discovered on YT. It's the cookery show you never knew you needed. There are loads of them! Ukrainian women in remote mountain villages preparing whole meals in between milking cows, knitting and pickling things. They do seem incredibly hard working and never seem to stop. There is a charm to these videos. They are an insight into a different world.

There is a very similar sort of channel based around Russian villagers. Really not dissimilar at all to their Ukrainian counterparts. They have more in common than not. It just makes you think. Life goes on for ordinary people, like it has done for a long time. It's the crazy people in the so called "modern world" that would destroy it all.
