As a relatively new photographer I'm wondering how far away you were from the Deer ? the shots are fantastic.

You can get up to just a few feet away, Brad. They are unfortunately, despite being wild animals, quite happy to come up close.

As a relatively new photographer I'm wondering how far away you were from the Deer ? the shots are fantastic.

They were very close. I had to walk away in order to use my 150-600 at the 150 end.

We have a big stag at work we call Bruce that we hand feed but it's taken a few years to be able to do that and I wouldn't recommend it
