Right I've got Adobe CS3 and I'm just in the process of buying a Canon 1D MKIII.

The issue is that I'm fairly sure that the camera is too new for the software to recognise the RAW files (need to update adobe RAW). The computer however is not connected to the internet (and due to tech issues at home wont be for the forseeable future). Is it possible to save the RAW updates to a pen drive or something and then upload to my pc?? Am a little stuck as to what i can do.

Many thanks

You should be able to open and convert the files using the software supplied with the camera?

I know this was an issue with the 5DII but I can't say for sure if it affected the
1DsIII. You could always give it to me and I'd give it a thorough test for you? :)

Trouble is I like using the Adobe RAW converter and while in the short term I could use the bundled software, I'd much prefer to use what I know and find effective.

Nice one! DFM

(I'm not the best at computer stuff, can you tell? :))

yep, that will work.

Right I'm still having problems with this.

I've downloaded the updates for bridge and intalled them but I'm still getting a message in CS3 saying its not the right kind of document.

I can view the pictures ok in windows but cannot view or open in Bridge/CS3

It did come up with an error saying it needed an updated CUE version but I've updated that as well and its still not working...

Any ideas??

All sorted now!! In the end i uninstalled CS3 then re-installed from disc and dowloaded the updates direct off the website. I've managed to get a wireless connection going which made life much easier!!
