Hi guys. As I've booked Friday off as a day's holiday, I've decided to head out with the new D800 to see what she can do with landscapes.
I live in Warrington but was thinking about the Peak District as it's only an hour or so away. Have transport, and good walking gear but not overly fit (hence the reason i need some excerise
), so hill climbing is a bit beyond me at the moment.
Have been to Monsal Head Viaduct before (so know where that is), so could use that as a starting point, or anywhere else that's recommended. Looking for the typical Peak District sweeping dramatic landscapes and sheer cliffs etc.
As you might have guessed, I don't know the area well at all so any advise gratefully received.
