Some advice and suggestions please. Looking to buy cheap (£40 – £60) P&S compact camera for my son, who is at university. Needs to be really simple to use with good image quality. He will be using mainly indoors at dance competitions plus the usual parties etc.
Saw the Samsung S1070 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-S10...2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1228052943&sr=1-2) at Amazon. As anyone any experience of this camera or suggestions for another compact camera please.
 
Samsung L100 from Tesco £65 i think, brough one a couple of months ago and i've been impressed with it!
 
At that sort of price, much of a muchness in my opinion, but boy how things have moved on in the last 18 months.
 
Thanks for advice. Will go for the P&S and hope he likes it, never know may be start of a new hobby for him. :thumbs:
