SOLVED! - Lightroom problems. I have two lightrooms and cant get changes into the newer version.

I keep a LR link in the taskbar. Recently LR CC updated, as did PS CC. The PS taskbar link disappeared but the LR one didn't so I carried on with it as usual. Now the problem is that that link takes me to the older version of LR, which I found out when I had a box come up saying I didnt have much time left on it. But the new version wont load the changes in my catalog. I have saved the backup to a different drive in the old version and have changed it to the same as the new version with no joy. I've synced the folders and tried importing the photos but it wont let me do that as they are already there. So I cant get the adjusted images I made yesterday to come up in the new version. PLEASE HELP!!
 
I had a similar problem.... I deleted the old version.
 
Solo Mans suggestion and the fact that I couldnt import the Taskbar LR catalog to the over LR as it kept saying it was an newer version catalog got me thinking and after checking ad re checking properties I found the version in the Taskbar is the NEW version, not the other way around ike Id thought. The One in the Start menu is 5.7.1 64 bit whereas the Taskbar one (which is also in the Start menu) is 6.1. Thank goodness for that. Just have to work out why adobe are telling me my days have ran out on my trial when I subscribe :thinking:
