Solution to criminals - pay them

Problem with this is that being pre-disposed to commit crime, even if we did pay them not to commit crime, they'd do so regardless.
Being the criminals that they are.

I think my solution for ASBO awardees was way better: form Labour Battalions of offenders to work alongside the military in hot sandy places building roads and airstrips and emptying the sh*tters, thus saving loads of tax-payers' money that currently goes to massive civilian contracting firms like KBR-Halliburton (US-owned and part-governed by Donald Rumsfelt, they cover all construction, supply and services in all the camps in Iraq and Afghanistan - even the cookhouses are part run by them).

A few months filling sandbags in Helmand would teach them the error of their ways.

Why should we have to be traumatised by all that blood - the reason the Nazis came up with Zyclon-B was to spare the feelings of the Einsatzgruppen troops... and for more efficiency, not out of compassion for the victims...

That didn't quite sound right - executing criminals by summary-means is no solution. Use them, don't abuse them.

superb idea, saving the taxpayer money and gets the scumbags working, i'm all for something like this, unfortunately we would have the human rights brigade on the case,or maybe we could send them too, even better kill two birds with one stone :D

i would pay them alright, pay them with either 6 or 12 twelve strokes of the birch. and bring back the short sharp shock!!!:annoyed:

Well there is a judge in Texas (I don't usually like to agree with anything that comes from Texas but this guy has a great idea) who gets people to wear plackards around there neck about what they did. and Stand on very busy intersections during rush hour. They are for thinks like "I wasted the tax payers money by benefit fraud" things that really get public ridicule up. Not sure if it works but I like the sense of justice of it and it doesn't cause the taxpayers any extra as there aren't any jail or police officer fees involved.

I'm sure it was a Texas judge who sentenced some guy to a total of 140 years imprisonment, whereon the guy shouted, "Hell Judge - I caint do no 140 years!"

The Judge replied "Just do as much as you can son"

I think the guards should be removed from the inside of prisons, all the doors removed from the cells, all provisions supplied from a secure point and finally all inmates should be armed, for their own protection of cause.
