Hi All

I have Apple Mac note book up till now always used Photoshop software, as I have new media with the Apple now not using for video processing , only for photo processing from Nikon D300, what do you think should I stay with Photoshop or go to apple software any thoughts would be gratefully received

Download a trial of Lightroom and Aperture. I went from Lightroom, to Aperture and now back to Lightroom. No matter how much I want to love and use the Apple product, Lightroom always wins through.

It all depends on what you want to do. Lightroom is an excellent piece of software and for what I wanted beat Aperture. However there will be some users who prefer Aperture.

Also do you need Lightroom. If you use Photoshop itself, and have the latest version you have most if not all the image editing tools in Photoshop as you have in Lightroom. Photoshop lacks the cataloging features of Lightroom but if you need to pixel edit then you'll need Photoshop anyway.
