Software to extract stills from video

Hi,
For my SD700 I use prtscn key on my keyboard and paste it into free photofiltre editor (resolution of the new page is 1920 x 1080) and save as jpg.
 
You could try Sony Vegas, it is capable of doing this but, whichever way you do it, you're going to be facing a battle to get anything of quality.

+1 for Vegas, stills quality will depend on the video source quality and how mullered it is.
 
Thanks for the advice.

It is a video I took on the 550d using the crop video function so the resolution is 640 x 480. I was filming the moon and a plane through straight across the face and it looked pretty cool so wanted to grab a couple of stills out.

I'm not planning on blowing them up or anything, just keep them original size.
