whats the best software for processing wedding shot's is there any thing special out there
as it takes me days using photoshop
please advise how can i cut down in process time
thanks

I'm a novice but use - Nikon Capture NX2 for WB and TIFF conversion, LR2 for general processing, noise ninja and then finally faststone (watermarking), with a bit of CS3 but only when I have to :)

it all depends on what you want to do? Lightroom it great for batch processing and I tend to do most of my tweaks in there but for those extra special shots, it has to be CS4

Hi,

If it's the same thing you are doing over and over in CS, why dont you set up an action. Then just play it for each photo and your done. I have just set one up to resize and apply a water mark ready for posting.

i use canon's dpp, which suits my needs perfectly. It sharpens and applies contrast ok for me, theres only 4-5 options to fiddle with. I don't like changing the picture too much so i tend to stay away from Photoshop

Another vote for Lightroom 2, for more heavier edits, has to be Photoshop CS3 for me during weddings.

lightroom 2 appears to toping the pol
thanks for your feedback

Moved from Talk Business to Post Processing & Image Editing :)

i use a number of pieces of software. lightroom for generall processing, cs3 for advanced editing, and album ds inside Cs3 for page layout creation.

Dg photo software is for making albums, it's not really a replacement for photoshop/lightroom.
