Well, perhaps not quite a dilemma. Perhaps 'quandary' would be a better word.

I'm about to get either Aperture or Lightroom.

I'm leaning towards Aperture. I'm not sure why, because I can get LR quite cheap as a student.

I'd like to get more into PP. I've worked with Photoshop for a number of years for web work, but not much photo work, so I'd like to get a book.

Is there anything better than The Adobe Photoshop CS4 Book for Digital Photographers by Kelby?

And since I'm getting Aperture or Lightroom, I'll need a book for that, too.

I know Kelby has a book on LR. What about Aperture?

Any help appreciated.

There are a couple of books for Aperture, I found them on Amazon..Can't say how useful they are as I'm a Lightroom user.

However if you decide to go the Lightroom route, have a look at Martin Evenings book on Lightroom as well as as Scots

Cheers for replying :D

I ended up getting LR3 for a very good price. So I then went and bought Kelby on LR3.

Both arrived today funny enough. Haven't looked at either yet, though.
