soft pics after posting

when i put an image on the forum it appears soft even though it is sharp enough on my monitor.
i am using photobucket and when i upload to there i resize the image to the largest size i canand then save it do i need to sharpen again after resizing im sure someone can put me right.

Yes, you need to resharpen when you resize for web.

You should be saving things at about 800px on the longest side for web. If you save bigger than this, they may be compressed on forums etc.

Try using " Image Shack" instead a bit better picture online storage site its free.
