Seems I having a growing problem on my 5d with focusing issues. It is definitely not the lens as switched between cameras to check, any similar user issues or ideas where to get fixed? Nikon nutter need not return.
Nice one

What kind of issues? Have same camera.

Have you tried calibrating the lens to the camera?

not got a problem with mine. If its new and definatley the body then might be worth canon having a once over with it.

You need to be a WHOLE lot more specific about the issue before anyone can really help.

Describe the problem, is it slow AF, inaccurate AF, what lighting conditions, is the AF back/front focusing, is it consistent etc etc.

Once we get that info, then we can try to help more....

Thanks for the returns, I first discovered the pictures were not as sharp as expected on a shoot in the studio, switched lenses to find the same. Looked up on the Internet to find a test card for focusing and it's was still very soft. I've just invested in a 50m f1.2 so I'm confident its not the lens, likewise this is a new issue for me, not seen in previous shoots.
Took it to LCE to not great help as they couldn't see any real faults, so I would like a techy to run a diagnostics over it. Any recommendations? Camera is just over a year old too.

Try microadjusting the body (i.e. not to the individual lens). Perhaps something is slightly out there. I know I'm amazed with the clarity/sharpness of the 100mm L IS on my 5D2

QFT, Try Microadjusting the body. Maybe your eyes are getting old? :P

Is it soft when the images come out on the computer or just in the viewfinder? Could be the diopter and your eyes? Whack up a few images I guess, maybe that could help?

Put some shots up with the exif intact and we can have a better look.

There are a whole bunch of auto focus tests you could perform.

I went through lots of pain with my 5D as I was convinced that something was amiss when coupled to a Sigma 70-200 2.8. In the end I put it down to the lens, and having now invested in some L glass, I can shoot with confidence at 2.8.

As Ben said, it would be interesting to see some images.

Good luck fella.
