Hi all, I've got a backdrop on order and want to get a softbox, I am on a ridiculously low budget I don't have too much knowledge but I want it to be flash not continuous.
I have seen this one:

Any advice gratefully received!

The reason I want ot buy one is to gain practice for as long as I want for free rather than hiring studio's which is costly, I've done a shoot in a studio before (pics here, http://www.philbottophotography.co.uk/gallery_282953.html comments welcome!) but I had about an hour, and felt like a rush so couldn't really get to grips with anything.

Many thanks!

The flash on ebay is cheap, but i think i would buy a reputable make eg Lencarta,Elinchrom,Lastolite etc...

One thing you need to look at is spare parts... bulbs etc...

You will probably want a kit of 2 or 3 lights to acheive decent studio shots...

Check out the TALK LIGHTING section for reviews of studio equipment...
