I am presently in my second year of A level photography at Farnborough Tech'. For my main subject I am doing soc' doc' on field sports, but struggling desperately with appropriate great photographers to research for my course work diary.
Last year I did something similar and researched Eugine W Smith, Chris Killip, Jacques Henri-Lartigue, Dorothea Lange and Tony Ray-Jones. This year, as I say, I am struggling as not only am I doing colour and not black & white, I would like to study more rural based photogaphers rather than the more historic soc' doc 'street' or 'urban' photographers like Henri Bresson, August Sander, Bill Brandt or Martin Parr.
I shall continue to do the apporpriate research to try and find renowned soc doc photographers that are more in line with what I'm looking for, but wondered if anyone here had any suggestions please
