As Sigma do two types. Do I need the EX DG ones or the non - totally confused ?!?!?!?!?

EX DG are the new (current) version of the extender.

I have the 1.4x ex dg and if it makes a difference to the images my 70-200 picks up, i've not seen it

Matty has the 1.4x too after owning the 2x for a short while and finding it soft.
