really can't decide haha also is there anything to watch for on them

Thanks in advance,

Tom

From what I've always seen and read about the later 500 models, they offer slight improvements from the original 500C and 500C/M but unless you specifically need those improvements that they offer, they aren't going to be significantly better picture-taking machines than the 500C/M.

Very happy with my late model 500C/M, all the features I need. Buying this basic body left more funds for Hasselblad glass!

nice one lads :D know what to keep an eye out for now riding 60's an 80s motorbikes so might as well go retro with the camera gear to :D

Want to go retro with a Hasselblad? A 500C and an original 80mm C Planar (the silver one) for you then

p.s. I see you've had an account for a few years at TP but haven't used it, welcome to F&C!

For higher end kit like this, I thoroughly recommend considering some dealers - Peter Loy, ffordes, Aperture UK, MW Classic. Sure, you'll probably pay slightly more (although in many cases its actually equivalent to the eBay cost), but you'll have a warranty and you'll be sold equipment by those who are in the know.

Very different from digital (I shoot with a D7000) but both are fun in their own way.

deffo totally agree :D think dales is my local for hassy stuff being in manchester Il have a drive round when it comes to it :)

really cant stick ebay haha

This has given me food for thought...I always wanted to go with a 503CW. But now I'm not so sure it's necessary.

I've always preferred the all black ones rather than the chrome. Black ones are slightly cheaper too which is always a bonus!

I bought a 500c in high school. Still functions perfectly. Need to make sure that there are no light leaks on the backs. Recently purchased a replacement kit for this on ebay

If the A12 was original with the 500C, the light seal would very likely need renewal. It's meant to be a relatively easy job so I'm sure you'll have no problems
