Cant open your image but try noise ninja, it's on a free trial before you buy.

Phil

Out of interest what camera produced the image. It looks very noisy as you say. Was the image underexposed and pulled back in Photoshop or similar. If it was try going to 16 bit first, do the adjustment and then convert back to 8 bit. Also leave sharpening well alone

Looks heavily cropped to me?. ISO 400 on a 30D shouldn't look nearly that bad normally. Try NoiseWare Professional.

Hi m8 sorry im not realy any good with PS but hade a go for you

Sheesh! That's some real bad noise Phil! It looks typical of the noise you'd expect to see from a digi compact rather than a DSLR, although recovering from bad under-exposure or sharpening a very soft image can also make noise much more pronounced.

I had a quick go for you and ran noise reduction just on the dark clothing where it's more evident. You can't afford to overdo the NR though or you just lose all texture in the clothing which looks worse.

I've tried to conceal the noise by adding a black semi transparent fill over the dark clothes a couple of times. Assuming you want to print the results though, you'd be a lot better putting the work into the full sized image.

I think it's beyond reasonable repair, you can remove some of the noise, but would probably remove all texture in the clothes and the skin will look like wax.

This was a crop about 10% of the shot. Focus on the bride at the other end of the group. Thanks all for your input ,I bought Noise Ninja as it will also come in usefull for shots taken in Churches using Natural light with high ISO. Hopefully I will not need this sort of repair to often. Cheers Phil.

A 10% crop will almost always look crap dude. Unfortunately.
