So many laptops which to choose for Photo Editing

To supplement my home PC I now need a decent laptop to allow use of photoshop and video editing software whilst away.

Maximum budget is £1000

Prefer as large a screen as viable for my budget

Can people give me their recommendations and reasons - I prefer PC as opposed to Apple

Been researching till blue in the face and completely confused by so many contradictory reviews

Spec wise for 1K you can easily get an Intel i7 based laptop. Without looking at the specs I'm assuming at that price level it will have a minimum of 8GB Ram.
SSD are excellent but still expensive for large storage.
However, if you are going to store your photos else where then a 500GB SSD will suffice.
If you go for one with HDD then make sure it's 7200RPM not 5400RPM
Screen size you'll get 17" for your budget.
Graphics wise you want one with a dedicated graphics card, again this should be fine budget wise.
Manufacturer wise everyone has their opinion and these days I don't think it matters much although I favour Del and HP.
Look at some specs then google reviews for them.
