Yes
So last year I tried the 52 and got to about week 20 then lost my way :(, this year I'm more determined than ever to complete the whole 52, and I've also started a 365 too :cuckoo::cuckoo:....yes I have finally lost the plot!!!!

So here we go then with Week 1 Sin...

Is it a sin to eat left over curry for breakfast the next day??

Fans of slimming world will be pleased to note that these curries are also SIN free (yep I know for SW it's spelt SYN ;))

Hi Simon, welcome back to the madness. Doing a 365 too :bonk:  Fingers crossed we can drag you through to the end this year!

Curry for breakfast is pretty hardcore, or maybe a bit crazy and definitely sinful! Nicely lit and I like the composition

Christine you've obviously never had a decent curry :nono:

Mmmmmmmm that curry looks tasty :)

Nice photo and take on the theme :)

Hi Simon...welcome back  We''l get you to the finish line this year...though double mad you are for taking on a 365 as well

Curry.....:gag: it's just wrong at any time of the day or night :shake:

I'd love to crit this shot , but as I can't abide the stuff my view may be more than a tad biased  I will say the bread loks well exposed & fresh

See ya in week 2

Well exposed and nicely lit.

One question though - what on earth it the dark reddish brown stuff at the far side of the plate past the rice? It looks like curried tree bark!

Hi, there, Sin, surely not :naughty:

Well lite and WB looks good, in fact, having looks again, I'd say it was spot on. Cracking white BG

I'd like the front meat to be in focus and not keen on the cropped knife and fork.

Overall, good start.

Cheers.

It's not a sin, I could also happily eat curry for breakfast, in fact I did for a week when in India.

As far as crit goes, I would prefer a different point of view, taken from higher up.

Random point, I think we used to have the same cutlery, if so well done for managing to balance the knife on the plate!!! With those heavy handles, we had to replace our set as my husband keeping ending up with his knife on the floor. :)

Wow....many thanks for all your comments. Now to reply to you all, and finally take a look at some other amazing 52's.

Having visited my first Indian restaurant a few weeks ago, yes, it is most definitely a sin to be served curry at any time of day or night and my view of this photo is therefore coloured by that experience. The rice looks nice and white and the Naan bread tasty though

Hehehe thank you. Take it you're not a curry fan.

See ya in week 2.

Hehehehe love it. Thanks for that. I do love the challenge and all the help and feedback from doing the 52. For some reason the people here seem to me more constructive and helpful than in other areas of the forum.

Lynne - you are obviously a woman of great taste, I had trouble critiquing it as well as it just looks like .............. well, I think the icon you used is spot on - with apologies to Simon.

Lol...no apologies needed hun.

Great idea, well lit looking forward to see what else you do ths year

Cheers

That looks very appetising :)

Welcome back Simon... It would sure be a sin to waste it too!!!

Liking the low pov and it is nicely lit too... great start.

Cheers Dark Knight...oh and if you haven't done yet could you please add me to the spreadsheet thanks, and this year I will finish it.

Well exposed and nicely lit.

Hahaha I think the curry held them in place.

Hi, well lit and very rich colours

Thank you.

Hi Simon, welcome back! I'm hungary now! It all looks very tasty. I have had leftover Chinese for breakfast before. Pic wise, all looks good, not sure but perhaps a slight straighten is needed?

Different point of view would be better and the composition for me isn't brilliant

was going to try and do something 'syn' related as following SW.. the curry looks lush.. sure the naan would rack up a few syns on the daily allowance though.. great start for your 52 :)

An excellent shot with vibrant colours and the sun splitting the trees. Stunning!

Lovely photo with superb detail and colours, I especially like the starburst around the sun.

But isn't it cheating using an 'old' shot ;) :rules:

Shhhh.....I'll keep schtum if you will ;) hehehehe

nice colour in the reds but it does look a little over saturated maybe take it down a bit

Fully agree with Michael. Good work.

I will not comment on it being an old shot as I have a back up if I don't manage to capture something worthy, that said still another 5 days till the next theme.

Excellent start to your 52 simon, you are totally bonkers for doing both.... tho i did think about it too! lol:D

I shall subscribe and encourage/hinder/annoy you lol!.... Good Luck:thumbs:
