love to enjoy an audio book now adays but got to wondering about one of the sleep bands snoozeband things anyone?

I have no personal experience but Mrs T bought a snoozeband a couple of weeks ago. Previously she used earbud things; they were small and fitted in the ear, were joined together by a wire, but linked wirelessly to whatever device she was using.

She is very impressed by the snoozeband, nothing to fall out of the ears, which used to happen with the earbuds. She finds the headband comfortable, no complains about the sound and the band can be pulled over the eyes as a mask, if needed.

I have wondered about getting some, the only thing putting me off is I would have to get a Bluetooth MP3 player as well.

I have never taken to audio books, tried a couple, but found it difficult to pick up at what point I was listening at, if I fell asleep.

i used to listen to a lot of audio books but only tried once or twice when going to sleep, as you say it was very difficult to find your place again, i used an app on my phone that allowed me to stop after an alloted time so i only had to look back over 10-20 minutes but i just could not be bothered in the end , ive tried to listen to them driving too but i found i wasnt concentrating enough on either so again i dont bother now.

i have a sleep band they work well compalred to headphones( they strangle you) or ear buds,(fall out in the bed), i do find though that they can turn slightly so the headphones part is not over your ears

I've not heard of these things before but have a long flight coming up.
Any recommendations and tips about what to look for?

i am not sure about using them on planes as they don't have much output or noise cancellation
personally i want one for sleeping or dozing , just recently come back from a month in GC and i went through loads of audio books just enjoying afternoon snoozes

OK, thanks for that.

Never heard of them. I have dozed off with bluetooth headphones in (earbod things) usually to a boring video.

I've tried them for the same reason but found they are either not comfortable or too warm. Audibly they work well but the other issue with listening to books in bed is you fall asleep. At least audible let's you set a timer.

I use ordinary wired earbuds. I listen to rain off if youtube. Been doing that for almost a year now. Very soothing.

Gone through quite a few earbuds too. They are always rubbish and break easily....

As for wireless ones, i would want some that have a very long battery life on first charge.

bought a pair of the v2 bands for me and the wife to try
results later
