Snoot question?

Hi all

I'm looking to get a snoot for a product shoot and having never used one before I was wondering what is the benefit of a reversible black/silver snoot as opposed to all black? ... or all silver ...

Edit: Poorly worded question ... I meant what is the difference using a silver as opposed to black snoot?

All black will give you the greatest control but will soak up much more light.
All silver, as above but in reverse.

The best bet is silver, but with a stepped design (rather than a cone) which controls the spread of light well.

Black will also a sharper edge to the fall off.

Depending on what you want it is good to have both available.
