Morning all...........could someone offer a little advice reference the above please? I have ordered one then realised I need to add a reflector either standard or wide angle as a start off.

Will be using it with a brolly type softbox and shoot through brolly, which type reflector should I order?

Wanting to keep costs down so which would be the best compromise?

Hi Duncan,

If you want to use umbrellas then standard reflector is what you need. It controls the direction of light and throws it into the brolly. The reflector can also be used on its own to produce hard lighting, with the option of adding honeycomb grids in various specs which gives you a spot light amongst other uses.

You don't need a reflector when using a true softbox, whether it's ProFold or Chairo.

Our 7" S-fit standard reflectors are made of thick aluminium and costs £9.99 inc VAT & postage, works perfectly with Lencarta, Bowens, Lastolite and Interfit Stellar heads. I think you'll be hard pressed to find better value anywhere else, including on eBay.
