Im having a brain fart moment and cant for the life of me remember the name of the small tripods you can get with ball legs that you can wrap around bars or branches of trees etc....the harder i think about the name of them the worse it is
 
Thats the one...it actually came bqck to me as i thought about logging back on here to see if i had a reply...
 
Obviously now i need to know if they will hold up a DSLR without drooping
 
There’s a bunch of different versions and it will depend on that plus what exact dslr and lens it is, a D5 or 1Dx + f2.8 lens is obviously far more to support. But most combos should be fine to support.

Had a little google about different versions it is as you say the dslr and 2.8 combo that was worrying me
