In need of a bit of help...

I have a wedding coming up and I'd like to work light.

There are two of use shooting with my equipment, my brother will have one body with a tamron 17-50mm f2.8 and I'll have my 70-200mm and need to carry my 35mm.

My question is, I'll intend to change my zoom and prime so is there something I can have on me all the time that will hold my 70-200mm safely with me running around?

Don't much fancy having my backpack on me all day taking 1 minute to change lenses every time I need to...

Any ideas appreciated.

Cheers.

Assume it's got a tripod mount? Have you thought about just using a sling strap (black rapid, q-strap etc) on the 70-200?

LowePro's Street and Field pouches can be fitted over a belt as easily as they can be fitted to the loops on their bags. Get one big enough for the larger lens and the smaller one's bound to fit!

I don't want to have the tripod mount in use as it will just get in the way, also, not keen on the idea of my lens dangling around like that due to the nature of how I tend to work.

Excellent, thanks - I'll check it up but seems like the best option.

Try googling Quikdraw I think the website is kickstarter.com.

I use a small shoulder bag (Currently thinktank retro 5) for this task when I shoot live shows.

Never been a fan of putting heavier lenses into belt pouches, always feels like they will pull my trousers down - not something anyone would want...

I just use the Nikon CL-M2 pouch (is it?) that came with the lens with the strap on slung over my shoulder.

Boda bags were made for exactly this. Looks like they don't sell them any more though :(
