Be Right Back. by SkylineFor the last five years I have e been making my own bird boxes for myself, family and neighbours.
We’ve had blue tits and great tits in one every year. I put up two boxes and one gets used.
For the last two years I have been using in door cams (like baby, dog cams) in them. The boxes are on the house wall and even when it’s the depth of winter the cams still work. (Warmth from the house I guess).
I have usb extension cable set up to each box, so as long at the camera can run from a usb mini/c it will be worth a look.
This year I would like to move up to the next level in the quality of camera. So, what small wireless cam do you recommend to fit in a bird box?
I need it to run via wifi and have an app to watch it on.
This is the quality I have now. One Arenti cam in each box. I fix them near the top of the box at the back.
