I’m copying photos from a Seagate usb external drive to another Seagate and the speed is woeful ! Averaging 15 mbs
Anything I can do to speed it up ?
Win 10 desktop
 
Are both drives and the two connected ports all USB3 ?
 
Hmmm! a bottleneck somewhere???

Direct ports on the motherboard or both plugged into (powered?) hub?

PS what speeds do you get if you copy to internal drive and vice versa, rather than ext to ext?
 
I think USB to USB is probably the issue try copying a good chunk of data to a local drive and then copying it out to the other drive
see what happens
