Does anybody find that when they go out with a zoom lens its slow to focus at first then gets quicker ans you use it more?
I have been out with my tamron 150-600mm a couple of times lately and found upon using it from first thing its very sluggish and slow sometimes missing the shot. But as you progress through the shoot it gets faster . I have found out it squeaks as it auto focuses but i thought it was normal. Had the lens around 8 months so its used regularly . Does your zoom do the same , is it because the temperature of the lens is colder slows it down ?
