Hi,

I am looking at putting photos of a recent wedding i did into a slideshow for the couple to view before deciding which pictures they would like in their album.

Which software do you use?

I am looking at a software that i can use just to put the images (350+) and then some music ( a few songs) and a fade transsition between each slide.

I am looking for something more automated. as movie maker etc you have to insert the transititon inbeteen each one manually. as if you do the auto movie it misses out slides and put them in random order.

im looking a preferably free software unless the software is extremely good.
 
Hi Andy, although I haven't had any paid jobs to date, I have done plenty of photo slideshows (with clips of videos) in Photodex Producer which I think is a great piece of software (although the sound transitions are a bit limited).
They have a decent set of transitions and additional style packs that can be bought, and there is also an auto mode (which I haven't used yet)

You could also try Animoto
 
Picasa is free and will run decent slideshows. You can choose the transition effect and slide time, as well as an accompanying mp3 music track.
