Yes
I was so impressed with the OOD Velvia I recently bought it got me to thinking I might just use some for daily use next year as price wise there is nothing much in it.

Provia100 5 Pack from 7 day shop is £23.99.

Velvia 50 5 Pack is £25.50p.

I've used out of date Velvia too for normal use with good results, both 35mm and 120......
Definitely will be using it more often next year.

Im thinking in date though much as I love tasty bargains the prices above still meet my £5 a roll criteria

Yes, I use in date stuff too...... in fact looking in my fridge I can see four brown bags in there, so I'm guessing my sons bought all the 120 film I wanted from the list I gave them lol....Velvia being one of them.......so, a 5 pack of 120 Velvia, Reala, FP4, and a 3 pack of Pan F that should keep me going for a while

I think I also gave my mum a list of 3xtypes of 120 roll film and also my wifes parents I think have me an Amazon voucher which I will also spend on film.

so in the new year i think that i should have at least 20 rolls :-)

Great stuff!.... always better if you can take away the cost of having to buy the film yourself.....
Is that for your Mamiya?..... Velvia is great, so is Kodak Ektar.

I am a real Velvia fan, in date or OOD, I'll shot it in any incarnation:)

Umm...I wish peeps would be specific about the format of "film" they want.

Ask me anything about 35mm and I've got no clue cos I hardly ever buy it.

120 though...that's different, I'm moved to remind you of that Provia deal at CCimaging in Leeds, ood but still a great deal if you go get it.

I have several rolls of 120 Ektacolour here that I bought to use with the 1/4 frame using the roll film back. I used a roll in the Yashicamat and one in the Ensign Tropical but have no idea what I would use the rest on - target-wise. Still got the 1/4 frame around here though, just no inspiration! Anyway, to the point, I have never had the urge to shoot slide film - never been able to convince myself of any benefit whatsoever... Why? I mean tell me, why slide film? In a digital world where most film is not printed then I can see it makes little difference but previously, what was the point of it? Endless holiday snaps of Torremolinos evenings?

Yeah I'm feeling that to the colours for me just have that bit more oopmph!

It seemed quite obvious to me he meant 120 as that was mentioned in the tread title. Could just be me being all logical and stuff though...

crazy logical fool
