Hi guys, I've got a neewer 560 flash which has slave 1 and 2 on it.
I also have a Vivitar sf 3000 which has 123 and 4 on it.
What are the differences between these slave modes?

Usually S1 means fire on first flash and S2 means ignore pre-flash (e.g. for TTL). I'm guessing the Vivitar modes all for different numbers of pre-flashses. If you are shooting in manual mode S1 should work fine.
