Skytech CLS-CCD Canon EOS Clio filter

We used to use a CLS filter with our 350D before it was modified. We have the Astronomik one - we bought it years ago when that was the only choice. It did a pretty good job but in the last year the camera has been modified and we've both started using PixInsight, which does such a good job of background removal we've not felt inclined to put the filter back in. Although it claims to be easy to remove, we always felt it wasn't, which meant the camera was only ever used on a scope. Now I can use a lens on it. If it wasn't for the software it'd be back in I think. Even though the places we work from are relatively light polution free, they're by no means perfect.

Thanks very much for the info.

Might just see how the camera is after modifying.
