Skyport to SB-27

Ok, so I've just ordered one of these to link my SB-600 to the first receiver, but was wondering if there's a cheaper/easier way of linking my SB-27 via the pc port?

I'll have to find the UK buyer I bought one from though. It was a couple more quid but came direct.

The sb-27 only has a synch port?

No, I could link it with the same hotshoe to 3.5mm adapter, but I thought as it had a synch port there may be an easier solution like the adapter you mentioned.
